Can I add DVB-TTML Subtitles to my stream?

Yes, you can easily add DVB-TTML subtitles to your SRT  streams.

SyncWords has introduced support for live DVB-TTML subtitles embedded in SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) streams through its proprietary Kobe Muxer MPEG-TS framework.

Unlike traditional CEA-608 captions limited to Latin character sets, SyncWords enables Unicode-supported DVB-TTML subtitles, allowing users to generate real-time subtitles in any language to serve diverse global audiences with ease.

DVB-TTML subtitles can only be added to SRT workflows. It works exactly the same way as other SyncWords SRT workflows but instead of embedding the captions as 608 data, it adds them as DVB-TTML.

NOTE: DVB-TTML for live workflows is very new and may not be supported by your player. Please test to make sure your player supports decoding DVB-TTML captions.
