# How to add captions and audio translations to PheedLoop (in-player)

## Unlock world-class live captioning, subtitling and AI voice translations in over 100 languages for your live stream directly in PheedLoop using SyncWords' embeddable player.

The process is simple. Reach out to SyncWords to schedule your event. We will set everything up in our system, give you the RTMP URL and key to send your stream to as well as provide the player to add in to PheedLoop.

### Schedule your event with SyncWords

Reach out to your SyncWords representative or visit our [PheedLoop page](https://www.syncwords.com/integrations/pheedloop) to get in touch with us and provide your event information. This typically includes things like: 

- The date of your event
- The number of sessions that need captions, along with the start and end time of each - you can use our [scheduling template](https://help.syncwords.com/hubfs/Syncwords%20Scheduling%20Template.xlsx?hsLang=en) attachment
- The language the presenter(s) will speak during the live stream
- The language(s) captions should be translated to and if you want to include audio translations or not

One of our team members will reach out to confirm everything and answer any questions you may have.

### Send your Stream to SyncWords

Now that your event has been confirmed, your SyncWords representative will provide the RTMP endpoint you need to stream to. The following encoder settings are required for live streaming with the SyncWords' player, regardless of your selected resolution and bitrate:

 

| Video Codec | H.264 (x264 may work) |
| --- | --- |
| Frame Rate | 25 or 30 |
| Keyframe Interval | 3 seconds |
| Scanning | Progressive |
| Rate Control | Constant (CBR) |
| Audio Codec | AAC-LC |
| Audio Bitrate | 128 kbps |
| Audio Channels | 2 (Stereo) |
| Audio Sample Rate | 48 kHz (48,000 Hz) |

 

**WARNING:** A baseline H.264 Profile and Interlaced Scanning are not supported and will break your stream.

Your SyncWords representative will also send you an iframe containing the player.

### Add the Player to PheedLoop

To add the SyncWords embeddable player to PheedLoop:

1. Go to your event and click on "Sessions" on the left hand side of the page.
2. Click on the session you want to add the player to.
3. On the right side of your page, find and click on "Virtual Settings".
4. Under "Virtual Settings", add the code for that section in the "Custom Stream Code" field.
5. Click "Save Changes".

You are all set. Just start your stream when you are ready to go live.
